70s or 80s vintage, with a 40s style dress.
Blue florals on a white background.
This is a shirtwaister cut with 4 working button fastening (breast feeding friendly) and short sleeves.
A-line skirt with a central panel of inverted pleats.
Matching fabric belt, fixed at the sides and fastens at the back.
Bodice is lined, going into an underskirt.
No fabric compostition label. This feels like a polyester, with a very 'rain mac' design making it an ideal, stain resistant house-coat dress!
No size label. I would recommend for a 22 or 24. However, it is pictured on a 16/18 mannequin and so could work as a looser fit for a smaller size
Bust- 48". Waist- 44" (with belt taking it further). Hips- Free.
Length from underarm- 33".
Preloved but in very good condition for its age. The stitch work to the sleeve hems and bottom hem is noticeable (pictured). There is also a little staining to the inside and some raw edges to the underskirt, neither of which are visible when the dress is being worn.
